Series Brief Review
Claymore Manga is a world where people, youmas and claymores have long been living. In this chain people are just food for youmas - cruel demons able to imitate their victims. Only claymores can cope with this mischief.

To fight the demons, a mysterious organization crossbreeds monsters and female people to produce claymores called so for their weapon, huge 2-handled swords. With the youma power inside they multiply their strength. But when overusing it and losing control of herself, a claymore turns into a monster and begins devouring people. These creatures are slier, more dangerous and called "the awaken".

The main heroine, Claire, is the weakest of claymores judging by her number 47. Driven only by revenge, she sets out to destroy demons on her way. During her journey she meets youmas and acquaints with perfect sisters-in-arms to help her in the future. She also goes along with a lad exiled from his native village.
